My name is Lindsay. I live in Portland, Oregon. I have a husband (Nich), cat (Penelope), and a bunny (Lil Omar).
I like to cook. And I like to write. So, I started this here blog.
I often describe my style of cooking as “Slow food for fast life”. I work a full time job, I’m on the board with my local farmer’s market, I coordinate weddings for Plate and Pitchfork, host the PDX Food Swap – and am generally always on the go! While I’m passionate about sustainable living and eating whole and healthy foods, it’s hard to actually cook this way in the midst of a hectic schedule. Thus, my cooking reflects the struggles of a working woman who’s doing her best to support a diet that is local and seasonal.
I do hope you enjoy it. And, of course, thank you for reading!
